The RRS-Shoe is a rapid attachment-detachment connector. On the bottom, center is a female 1/4X20tpi thread that allows the RRS-Shoe to be semi-permanently installed on the optic ball socket of either the 3L/V2 or Granite Peak Tripod. A 2X56tpi cap screw can be located in one of the two top positions to allow left or right side placement of the locking thumbscrew. The RRS-Shoe mates with the RRS-OBA, RRS-BT, and RRS-Foot with a easy 1/2 rotation of the locking thumbscrew. Great for when you are wearing mittens or glove. Equally handy when you want to quickly swap between binos and spotter in the field.
